Quiet Order
-
門開時,光與視線向彼此延伸;
Quiet Order
A sense of space is not always defined by its dimensions.
Sometimes, it is found in a sightline allowed to travel,
in a beam of light that reaches deeper within,
or simply in a white wall left intentionally bare.
From the entryway, the flooring draws each step inward. Gray-tinted mirrors reflect the rhythms of everyday life while extending the sense of depth beyond. Rather than rushing to divide the interior into defined zones, the space allows different moments of living to meet naturally in passing.
The living and dining areas are no longer treated as separate rooms. A gray travertine surface unfolds horizontally through the interior, extending from the dining table to the wall behind the sofa. Dining, working, reading, and gathering take place naturally within a shared setting. This continuous horizontal volume brings depth and rhythm to the open plan, becoming an axis that quietly connects the rituals of daily life.
On the other side, glass and sliding doors gently define the boundary between the living room and bedroom. When open, light and sightlines flow from one space into the other; when closed, each returns to its own quiet.
Expanses of white wall are deliberately left untouched, allowing the interior to breathe rather than be filled by form. Gray travertine, warm beige stone, and wood are placed throughout with restraint, gradually taking on warmth as light and shadow shift through the day.
Perhaps the quiet grace of home
lies not in having more,
but in knowing what to keep,
and what to leave untouched.
Between one space and another,
there is room to draw close,
and room enough to remain apart—
a quiet place
for life to unfold in its own way.
