拆除多餘的界線，讓客廳、餐區與起居空間彼此串連。

原本的房間被轉化為開放的起居場域，不預設使用方式，
而是留給日常更多可能，

讓陪伴、閱讀、休憩與獨處，
都能自然發生。

樺木夾板、蛇紋石與礦物塗料，
以溫潤而內斂的材質語彙構築空間層次，在留白之間承接光影，
也讓家的氛圍始終柔和而安定。

緩居，不是讓生活變慢，
而是讓每一次停留，
都值得被好好感受。

Slow Dwelling

Life does not always unfold in a single direction.

At times, what is most precious resides in the quiet interval between urgency and repose—a place where life is granted the grace to remain unhurried.

As space is released from the weight of function, light finds its own rhythm, and time quietly relinquishes its urgency.

With this sense of openness in mind, the existing layout was gently reworked,
removing unnecessary boundaries to allow the living room, dining area, and shared living spaces to flow naturally into one another.

A once-enclosed room was transformed into an open setting for everyday life—not defined by a predetermined purpose,
but intentionally left open to possibility.

Here, companionship, reading, rest, and solitude unfold with ease, allowing the home to respond gently to the changing rhythms of daily life.

Birch plywood, serpentine stone, and mineral-based finishes compose a restrained yet tactile material palette.

Warm in character and understated in expression, these materials lend the interior a quiet sense of depth.
Within the openness of the space, they receive the shifting presence of light and shadow, sustaining an atmosphere that remains soft, grounded, and composed.

Slow Dwelling does not seek to temper the rhythm of life.

Rather, it gives form to a home where each pause is gently received, and stillness is allowed to gather meaning.
